CAPTAINS REPORT
Well St Neots GC didn’t disappoint! We haven’t been there for 3 years, the course was in fabulous condition and it was as popular as ever. And what a great turnout 37 players!! Thanks for your continued support. I must say a big thankyou to our sponsors for the day; John Tarbox and Tim Watkin-Rees for their generosity.
The weather gods smiled down on us again with beautiful sunshine and I will try and make this a regular theme for our days out. We played for the June Sheild and the Yellow Peril competition so congratulations to all our winners;
The June Sheild – Mike, Sam, Nick and Jamie with 76 pts
The Yellow Peril – Ciro, Ricky, Fozzie and Mevin with 34 pts
The guest competition was won by Ricki Elston with an amazing 39 pts! Could be a cut on the way there!
Our next meeting is Weds 15th July for the all day 36 holes at Aspley Guise & Woburn GC which I’m sure will be another excellent day.
