CAPTAINS REPORT

A special day for the Society as we gathered for our President’s Day at South Beds.

It was great to see a healthy turnout of 23 members, and as always, I am very grateful for the continued support of the group.

It’s been a long time since the Society last played South Beds, and the course certainly didn’t disappoint. The exceptionally windy conditions kept everyone honest and ensured that scores remained realistic throughout the day!

The staff looked after us very well and, perhaps most importantly, I’m delighted to report that everyone returned home with the same number of clubs they arrived with.

We now look forward to what promises to be another fantastic event at St Neots on Monday 22nd June, where we will be playing for the June Shield. With 38 players already booked in, it should be another excellent day for the Society.
