CAPTAINS REPORT

After the excitement of the Masters, attention turned to the Kimpton Spoon & Trio Trophies at Leighton Buzzard.

The day was kindly sponsored by Dud Ginn & John Tarbox (that’s the Kimpton John Tarbox and not the Leighton Buzzard John Tarbox) - much appreciated gents.

30 played including 10 guests (returning & new) and all competitions were competitively contested.

A thoroughly enjoyable day with great hospitality and again we were lucky with the weather. I’m sure the course, along with all those in the area, benefited from the subsequent rain.

Thanks to the Captains team and ‘volunteers’ for enabling the smooth running of the day.

Looking forward to Dunstable Downs and Presidents Day on the 21st of May.
